The Capital Fund is one of nine English Regional Venture Capital Funds and was established in 2002 to provide risk capital to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Greater London. The Fund is managed by YFM Group which is part of the GLE Group of companies.

The Capital Fund has reached the end of its investment period and is no longer making new investments. The Fund is now focusing on its portfolio companies, supporting them in their growth and development.

It is possible that one of the other Funds managed by the YFM/GLE Group may be able to help fund your venture. If you have an application for funding that you would like to be considered, please forward an executive summary.

The YFM/GLE Group manages in excess of £310 million of funds with investment sizes ranging from £50,000 to £8 million. Principal offices are located in Leeds, Manchester, London and Bristol with over 40 investment professionals being employed across the UK.

The Capital Fund is managed by YFM Venture Finance Limited. YFM Venture Finance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is part of the YFM Group and is a GLE Company. Trading names used in the past by the London office include London Fund Managers, Yorkshire Venture Finance and Yorkshire Fund Managers.
