The Capital Fund

The Capital Fund is a £50 million venture capital fund which will be invested over a period of up to six years. The fund has a ten year life, extendable to twelve years. The Fund is focussed on the equity gap and can make initial investments of up to £250,000 in London-based SMEs. After six months or more, the Fund can invest up to a further £250,000. Under certain circumstances, alongside other new investors, the Fund can invest up to £5m in a single company.

Primary investment objective

The primary objective of The Capital Fund is to maximise returns to our investors by investing in SME companies with high growth potential and management teams capable of delivering that growth.

The Capital Fund is managed by YFM Venture Finance Limited. YFM Venture Finance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is part of the YFM Group. Trading names used in the past by the London office include London Fund Managers, Yorkshire Venture Finance and Yorkshire Fund Managers.
